Cyber insurance with prevention: everything Stoïk provides
Cyber insurance pays when something has happened. It's better if nothing happens at all. That's why our cooperation partner Stoïk combines insurance, prevention and immediate assistance in one contract. Here's the overview.
Prevention built into the policy
- Technical scans: external scan of your systems reachable from the internet, Active Directory scan, cloud scan for Microsoft, Google and Amazon, and a search for your employees' leaked credentials.
- Human Security: phishing simulations, short awareness training sessions and a report button for suspicious emails. The basic version is included in every policy.
- Support: alerts with assessment by analysts and help with remediation.
Optional: email protection and Managed Defense
With Managed Email Security, according to the provider, a Security Operations Center checks incoming emails in Microsoft 365 around the clock for phishing and invoice fraud. According to the provider, the sublimit for fraud then rises to up to 40 % of the sum insured (max. €1 million), and the deductible for fraud losses no longer applies. Managed Defense (MDR) additionally monitors endpoints.
In an emergency: forensics and crisis management
Stoïk's in-house incident response team handles IT forensics, containment and restoration, and supports data protection notifications and crisis communication. Depending on the contract, cover includes business interruption, cyber extortion, costs of regulatory investigations (e.g. under the DSGVO (GDPR) or NIS2), third-party liability claims and – where agreed – cyber fraud, including via deepfake.
